This week I have a special request for those of you who live in Lowndes County, Georgia. The Rotary Club of Valdosta is sponsoring the Second Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner on February 19, 2009. You are invited to attend and show your support for our local law enforcement. The dinner raises money to help officers in times of need. If you stop and think what Valdosta would be like without law enforcement, you will quickly realize just how much you appreciate these men and women.
